About Katina

Katina Tsakopoulos is the founder of Integrative Somatic Wellness, LLC (ISW®).

Through a personalized and integrative approach, she helps individuals strengthen nervous system regulation, build resilience, and create sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term well-being. Her work combines Somatic Experiencing®, Resilience & Regulation, and complementary mind-body modalities to support clients in achieving greater balance, fulfillment, and overall wellness.

Katina is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT). Katina assists for the Somatic Experiencing Institute, the Ergos Institute, Inc., and with Kathy Kain and Stephen Terrell in their in person and remote touch trainings. She is an SE approved session provider through the advanced level and provides individual case consults for beginning level SE students.

Creating Balance Between Your Mind, Spirit and Body

As human beings, unless we live in complete isolation, we experience constant external stressors all around us. Some of these stressors have a big impact all at once (car accident, surgery, divorce for example) while other small stressors can have an impact that accumulates over time. Our bodies take these things in and sometimes hold onto them in a way that shows up as various levels of discomfort- migraines, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, etc. The tools I use help you learn to help yourself manage the effects of existing and future stressors that will inevitably occur as you go through life.

I was pretty broken after several emergency, life threatening surgeries. I did not hold out much hope for ever regaining my core strength and a pain free daily existence. After several attempts to find a unique and whole experience with restorative Pilates, I was lucky enough to find Katina’s individual and personalized attention in a one on one session which immediately gave me hope.
